Make a Monster Truck Birthday Coloring Station
A practical, low-prep birthday activity with one free monster truck printable, easy table setup, and ideas for displaying the finished pages.
A birthday activity does not need complicated instructions. Put a stack of this original monster truck page on a table, add crayons, and invite guests to design their own party truck. The flags and balloons are already on the sheet, so children can start immediately.
This is a station idea, not a promise that every guest will sit for a set time. It also works for one child on an ordinary afternoon. The printable is free and belongs to BoysColor; the optional product further down is a different collection.
A simple setup before guests arrive
Print one page per child plus a few extras. Put washable crayons or pencils in a cup, leave enough table space for each sheet, and place one completed sample nearby only if you think it will help. Avoid making the sample the “correct” way to color.
- Offer the page as a drop-in activity rather than a timed contest.
- Ask guests to choose a truck color and a color for the balloons.
- If you want team names, let children write them on a separate scrap of paper.
Free party monster truck page
The picture includes a smiling truck, checkered flags, balloons, and confetti. Children can turn the same drawing into very different party trucks by choosing a two-color team scheme.
- Color the truck and give its oversized tires a pattern.
- Pick one color for the party flags or alternate two colors.
- Add a birthday message on the back if the child wants.

Display, then send it home
