Monster Truck Color by Number: 4 Free Pages

Four original monster truck color-by-number printables with one easy four-color key, parent tips, and individual free downloads.

Some children love trucks but freeze when asked to choose every color. Color by number gives them a first step: find a number, match it to the key, and fill one space. These four original BoysColor pages move from large simple regions to a busier finish-line scene.

Every page uses the same printed key: 1 = red, 2 = blue, 3 = yellow, 4 = green. Unnumbered white spaces can stay white or become your child’s own finishing touches. The colorful image above illustrates the idea; the downloadable puzzles are below.

Use one key for all four pages

Point to the printed key before coloring, then let the child find one number at a time. You can substitute another set of four crayons if you write the new mapping beside the key and use it consistently.

  1. Find every 1 and color those regions red.
  2. Repeat with 2 blue, 3 yellow, and 4 green.
  3. Leave unnumbered details white or color them freely after the puzzle is done.

Page 1. Big wheels, easy start

Large truck shapes and a plain background make this the easiest place to learn the matching rule. The tires are numbered 4, so they can become green in this playful version.

  1. Start with every large 1.
  2. Find the 2s in the windows.
  3. Finish the numbered wheels and ground.

Page 2. A ramp to cross

This side-view truck approaches a ramp. Most sky details are left open, so children can add clouds or a path after matching the numbered regions.

  1. Color the truck body and windows using the key.
  2. Find the 4 on the ramp and ground.
  3. Draw where the truck might drive next.

Page 3. Mud-splash pattern

The large splash shapes repeat number 4. That gives the child a reason to scan the whole picture before finishing the truck.

  1. Find every splash marked 4.
  2. Color the truck’s 1, 2, and 3 regions.
  3. Count the big splashes after coloring if you like.

The finish banner has several checks with 1s and 2s, while the truck repeats the familiar color rule. Complete one numbered group at a time.
