Rocket Countdown Coloring Poster for Kids

When a child looks forward to a space-themed party, class project, or pretend rocket launch, the waiting can become an activity of its own. This free poster puts one big rocket above five numbered circles. Your child can color the rocket now and color one number on each of the five days before the chosen event.
You need only the printed page, crayons, and a place to display it. The colorful scene above illustrates the theme; the black-and-white poster to download is below. This is a playful countdown, not a real launch schedule or a lesson on how rockets work.
Print and personalize the poster
Write the event date in the blank box. It could be a birthday, school space day, or a family mission in the living room. Let your child choose colors for the rocket body, window, and stars. Leave the numbered circles blank until the final five days.

Make the countdown fit your plans
If the event is sooner than five days away, color more than one number today. If it is farther away, wait until the final five days. Missing a day is no problem: just catch up. For a group, print one poster to color together or give each child a copy and let them invent different rocket designs.
